The Opportunity

Fluenta has been a global leader in ultrasound technology and its application in flare gas measurement since its inception in 1985 and has more than 30 years’ expertise in the technology, including thousands of deployments, often in some of the most challenging environments in the world, where safety and accuracy are paramount.

We are at a pivotal stage in our evolution, developing new technologies to monitor and actively reduce harmful gas emissions as well as pioneering work in the measurement of hitherto difficult gas compositions, creating new products suitable for low-carbon and other applications in the green economy.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving market expansion within existing markets, spearheading the development of green-tech metering solutions such as hydrogen. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define and execute product strategies that align with our company’s growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Roadmap Development:

Conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends within the flare gas metering industry, including existing markets and emerging green-tech applications.

Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap, outlining the necessary features, functionalities, and improvements required to achieve market expansion and technological advancement.

Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to translate product vision into tangible specifications and requirements.

Market Expansion and Business Development:

Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our market presence within existing markets, establishing strategic partnerships and customer relationships to drive revenue growth.

Lead market analysis and competitive assessments to understand customer needs, pain points, and market dynamics, enabling informed decision-making and market penetration strategies.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and standards related to flare gas metering, flare combustion efficiency..

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful execution of product strategies.

Collaborate with customers, industry partners, and regulatory bodies to gather feedback, validate requirements, and build strong relationships that drive customer satisfaction and product success.

Preferred skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in the industrial or energy sector, preferably in the metering or oil and gas industry
• Strong technical background with a solid understanding of gas metering approaches
• Demonstrated experience in driving product strategies, roadmaps, and successful product launches
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market research, customer insights, and performance metrics
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to flare gas metering
