  • Role Type: Full-Time, Contract. Working hours are 37.5 hours a week with some flexibility.

Monitoring flare gas is a critical aspect of managing safety and profitability within the oil and gas industry, as well as providing the basis by which oil and gas companies pay certain taxes and report environmental issues.

The Role:

As a Service Engineer, you will be a vital member of our dynamic team of three. Your expertise and dedication will ensure the optimal performance of our flare gas metering equipment and contribute to the evolution of our operational procedures. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Service Fluenta’s flare gas metering equipment, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency. 
  • Document and report the outcomes of each service engagement. 
  • Seek opportunities to add value for our customers and the company during service visits. Identify potential upgrades, optimizations, or process enhancements that can elevate the customer experience and drive business growth.
  • Communicate effectively. Engage with customers before, during, and after service visits, establishing strong relationships based on trust and expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with our teams, sharing knowledge and experiences to elevate our service offerings collectively. 
  • Uphold Fluenta’s commitment to quality and safety standards, ensuring that all services provided align with industry regulations and our company’s high benchmarks.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the availability and proper functioning of essential technical components, including acknowledgement, installation, commissioning, calibration, and ongoing maintenance of our products. 
  • Your technical expertise will extend to remote access support, providing swift resolutions to technical challenges through electronic communication channels and telephone support. 
  • Collaborate closely with our sales and marketing teams, providing valuable insights and technical knowledge to support our sales activities. This includes crafting service agreements, compiling spare parts lists, and generating offers showcasing our support services’ value.
  • Support the commissioning and installation of Fluenta’s solutions, ensuring they integrate properly into customer environments.
  • Adhere to our HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and follow safety protocols throughout all aspects of your work.

We are actively seeking an individual possessing the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field forms the basis for this role. Knowledge of Metering, Instrumentation, and Ultrasound is preferred as it will provide a solid foundation for understanding our specialized technologies.
  • Demonstrated capability in navigating operational and strategic aspects is essential. A profound understanding of gas flow metering and ultrasound metering technologies will position you for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in using essential tools such as MS Office or similar applications is necessary. 
  • An orientation towards business understanding is crucial, and aligning technical expertise with strategic objectives is essential.
  • A highly motivated candidate who embodies trustworthiness will enjoy a great fit as we maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity to foster confidence in our colleagues and customers.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills are imperative. Your adeptness in conveying complex technical concepts in an accessible manner will facilitate effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proficient command of the English language, both spoken and written communication, is essential.
