Tell us a little bit about yourself and your background
I’m a graduate of the Industrial Distribution Engineering program from the Dwight Look College of Engineering at Texas A&M University. The industrial sector has always fascinated me in the sense that the industry is always looking for ways to improve quality and reliability of different products installed in brownfield and greenfield industrial sites. My 7-year career journey thus far has been in account management and solving problems centralized in the oil and gas industry. When I am not solving complex problems in the workplace, I enjoy spending time with family (my wife and three kids), cooking on my grill and enjoying our new backyard.
How long have you been working at Fluenta and what is your role?
I joined Fluenta as an Inside Sales Manager in 2017. My role not only involves project estimation and project management, but also building strong relationships with our core suppliers, streamlining our quote to order process, and ensuring on time delivery once quotes turn into orders.
What does your ‘average’ day at work look like?
I work closely with our outside sales team everyday to understand customer’s gas process applications and providing a suitable flare measurement solution for their measurement challenges. Our inside sales group works tirelessly to read customer specification sheets, ensuring each quoted solution reflects the end users’ needs.
What are you most proud of during your time at Fluenta?
From when I started in 2017 to present day, Fluenta has made significant inroads in offering a wider selection and choice to customers, increasing our capabilities to help more markets. I am proud to see Fluenta giving end users accurate and reliable solutions for challenging applications that competitors would find it difficult to commit to.
What are you most looking forward to?
Our design and development team are working around the clock to design new products that will further grow our product portfolio. I look forward in being instrumental to the company in offering our new product selection to new and existing markets.
What do you predict for the future of Oil & Gas technology?
The world is pushing for improved environmental standards and accurate gas measurement guidelines for flaring. I believe the world is moving toward a zero-flaring policy. Fluenta is strategically positioned to assist regulatory agencies around the world to measure gas accurately in all applicable projects.
What advice do you have for newcomers to the Oil & Gas industry?
Come on in, the sea of possibilities in this sector is only the beginning.
